Save what works Moments Studio

Build a small prompt library you will use

Organize reusable prompts by purpose, save better versions, and keep personal information out of your examples.

For reflective imaginations

The Studio library can hold a few general questions while your answers remain private. Organize prompts around noticing, making, and choosing a small next activity. Store them in your own notebook or notes tool, and rewrite any wording that feels too personal or judgmental. You can use a saved question without opening a service again. A useful collection supports the routine you actually have instead of encouraging endless preparation for a routine you never try.

A few quiet minutes can be a starting point for a story, a question, or a different point of view. These guides approach AI conversation as an intentional creative activity.

Keep a private prompt page

  1. Save one question each for noticing, creating, and choosing a next step.
  2. Remove wording that asks for personal interpretation or identifying details.
  3. Try a saved question offline before collecting more prompts.

A fictional creative exercise. Adapt or skip any step to suit your own boundaries.

01

Organize by the result you want

Useful labels might include start a story, explore a setting, simplify a reply, and finish a session. A prompt under “start a story” could read: “Offer three original fictional premises with a clear character objective. Use one sentence for each.” The label explains when to use it, and the prompt describes the output.

Store an example of the kind of result you liked, if you have one. Keep the example fictional and free of personal data. A small note such as “Works well for light adventures; ask for shorter answers” is more useful than a vague rating that does not tell you what to change.

02

Change one part and compare

When revising a prompt, alter one element: the length, the tone, the number of options, or the context. Compare the outputs against the same goal. If you change everything at once, it becomes difficult to tell which part helped. Save the simpler version when two prompts work equally well.

Delete prompts that consistently create work without a useful result. A collection grows more valuable when it becomes easier to choose from. Avoid treating a popular prompt as a guaranteed formula; different tasks and services may respond differently, and the current service rules always apply.

03

Include a reliable ending prompt

A library should help you finish as well as start. Try: “Summarize the fictional ideas we selected in five short bullets. Do not add new material.” Review the summary, correct anything important, and save your own version. This gives the session a stopping point and prepares a clean note for a later project.

  • Label each prompt with its intended result.
  • Keep examples invented and non-sensitive.
  • Record a short note about what worked.
  • Maintain a few useful prompts instead of an enormous list.

A few useful answers

Common questions

Where should I store the library?

Use a notes tool or document you understand and can manage. The important part is being able to find, edit, and remove entries without depending on a particular conversation's history.

Should I copy someone else's long prompt exactly?

Treat it as an example. Read it carefully, remove unnecessary instructions, and adapt it to your own task. Never include text you do not understand or private details from another person.
