Built for a clear reading experience
Accessibility information and help using the website
The guide is designed around readable text, standard links, and a layout that adapts to smaller screens. Accessibility is ongoing work, and reports of barriers are welcome.
Reading and navigation
Use the “Skip to content” link at the start of each page to move past the navigation. Keyboard focus is visible on links, buttons, menu summaries, and question disclosures.
The site uses a consistent main navigation, breadcrumb links on internal pages, descriptive page titles, and an HTML sitemap. Guide pages include links to their main sections.
Layout and interaction
Text can be enlarged using browser zoom. Content is designed to reflow on narrow screens, and the mobile provider button is positioned so it does not cover the page content.
Expandable navigation and question answers use native browser disclosure elements. The site does not require JavaScript, play media automatically, or use animation to convey essential information.
External websites
Provider and source links may open a new tab; that behavior is included in the link’s accessible text. Independent websites may have a different accessibility experience.
The original marks and decorative illustrations do not carry information needed to understand a guide. Important text is available as regular page content.
Report a barrier
Email [email protected] with the affected page, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser, or assistive technology involved if you are comfortable sharing it. Do not include sensitive personal information.
We aim to make practical improvements in response to reported issues. This page describes design measures, and does not certify that every possible accessibility requirement has been met.
